Job Description

Our client is a growing software developer that is currently positioned for incredible growth. The company has an excellent product that is being sought out by its customers. The company is on the verge of skyrocketing sales, and the companys founder/owners are seeking the person who will take the helm to lead the company during this critical time of opportunity. As CEO you will play a key role in organically growing the sales of the company with a goal of selling the company in the the next 3-4 years.
Reporting to the Chairman of the Board and leading a team of 50 employees as President/CEO your responsibilities will include:
* Plan and develop the companys objectives and business strategies in conjunction with the senior management team
* Establish short, medium, and long term goals with board approval
* Determine the key business issues to prioritize and develop appropriate action plans
* Establish multi sales channels for product distribution
* Strengthen relationships with present customers, while determining product expansion opportunities
* Develop, design, operate and improve the systems that create and deliver the firms product/services
* Ensure the effectiveness of the operations of the organization by efficiently managing human, financial, and capital resources
* Develop, attract, retain and motivate an effective team capable of achieving results.
* Create an environment which fosters teamwork
* Drive improvements in operational efficiency, product/service improvement, and new product/service design
* Create a culture where the need for change is understood at all levels of the organization and establish high performance expectations throughout the organization
Your background should include:
* MBA strongly preferred. Bachelors degree required.
* Minimum of 15 years of experience in a leadership role with at least a portion of that experience as a President or CEO
* Experience with a software developer who sells in the healthcare space strongly preferred
* Experience leading sales efforts with strong involvement in the the account management efforts and direct involvement with sales growth. Experience establishing a multi sales channel strategy
* Experience leading operations including a track record of building a management culture based on teamwork, open communication, prudent risk taking, innovation, and accountability
* Experience working in an entrepreneurial, privately owned company a MUST
* Demonstrated track record in organically growing the sales of a company
* Experience raising venture capital funds
* Track record of resolving complex problems with creative, strategic, and innovative solutions
* Ability to envision, create, implement and gain acceptance of new function design, project management plans, and short an long-term strategic plans
* Medical/healthcare experience helpful, but not required
* Highly developed listening, persuasion, and negotiation skills based on analytical evaluations
* Detailed orientation
* Strong interpersonal skills
